SC Understood Naidu’s Modus operandi in Hurting Religious Beliefs: Jagan

Hyderabad: YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today said the Supreme Court had understood as to how Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had incited religious beliefs with political malice. He said the Apex Court had strongly said political dramas should not be done in religious matters and alleged that the ruling TDP was still spreading false propaganda in the religious matters.

YS Jagan reacted to the Supreme Court verdict on the laddu issue. On the occasion, YS Jagan spoke to the media. Speaking on the occasion, he said the Supreme Court had highlighted the true nature of Chandrababu. “The Supreme Court understood how Chandrababu had provoked religious beliefs with his political malice. The Supreme Court has strongly said political drama should not be done. Chandrababu has spread false propaganda that Tirupathi laddus are made out of animal fat. The Supreme Court has given a befitting reply to Chandrababu in this regard. The Supreme Court has quashed the SIT formed by Chandrababu himself,” he said.

Reddy said if Chandrababu has devotion to God, he should immediately apologise to the people. He criticised that Chandrababu has neither fear nor devotion. “If he is afraid and devoted, there should still be repentance. He is still telling the same lie over and over again. The ruling TDP is still spreading false propaganda on Twitter. If the courts have blamed them, they have opened a false propaganda against us on social media. The TTD said there was no adulteration in the case of laddus. Chandrababu's attitude has not changed despite the Supreme Court's decision. Chandrababu is shamelessly distorting everything,” he alleged. He also alleged that Chandrababu had desecrated the image of Tirumala and added that the national media had also blamed Chandrababu in the laddu controversy.

“Chandrababu spoke of defiling the uniqueness of Srivari Laddu. Tankers were sent back 14 times during the TDP regime and 18 times during the YSRCP regime. Contracts will be awarded only to those who come first in these tenders. Each ghee tanker has to bring a certificate and the TTD will do three tests for the ghee tankers. Those tankers will be sent back if the tests found any adulteration of ghee. He himself said the tankers were rejected. It was clearly revealed that there was only a vegetable fat in the ghee. Chandrababu has tarnished the reputation of the laddu,” he added.
